BREAKING: San Antonio girls rescued from trafficking

Praise the Lord! In the last two weeks, two different traffickers have been arrested and two girls have been rescued from the slavery of human trafficking!

Today, Carlos Richard Villarreal, 39, was arrested and charged with human trafficking and prostitution of a minor for an extended period of time. The victim’s mother reported to police that her daughter was missing several times in 2015 and eventually was able to locate her by accessing Facebook messages.

About two weeks ago, officers arrested Steven Charles Sumlin, 39, who is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution over the course of several months. She was rescued when she went to a local gym and employees recognized her picture from missing fliers posted in the area.

Praise God for parents who are unwilling to give up searching for their children and praise God for community members who are aware!

It is SO important for each and every one of us to be on the watch for signs of trafficking.

Pray that God would raise up more people to expose the evils of trafficking, one survivor at a time! Continually pray for the stronghold of trafficking in San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston to be broken. Pray that the traffickers would be exposed and that the precious children that are rescued would be completely healed in every way.
